Wildlife, Marine, Portrait & Transport Artist

Most of Alan’s working life has been spent in the West Country which figures strongly in his choice of subject matter. He has been a professional artist for over twenty years. Currently, with his partner Diana, they publish the Alan Ward Collection of Fine-Art Limited Edition Prints and participate in exhibitions, fayres and international festivals throughout the West. His formal Art School and College training and subsequent career in advertising, design & marketing has provided a sound basis upon which to build a professional artistic reputation. Work has been shown in local, regional and national exhibition venues. Many of Alan’s paintings and limited edition prints now find their way into Europe and further afield to such countries as Australia, Canada, South Africa, America & New Zealand. He is an elected Red Feather member of the Bristol Savages and lapsed member of the Guild of Railway Artists. Alan works in most mediums including oil, acrylic, water colours and charcoal. Commissioned work plays an important role in his daily studio routine with a variety of challenging subjects being undertaken.
